- Red is the wavering rose, swaying in the warm breeze.
- Red is the trickle of blood, running from my nose on a hot summers day.
- Red is the racing fire engine, speeding towards the scene with its sirens blaring.
- Red is the post box, standing through the rain, snow and the shine.
- Red is my heart, pumping along and powering my exhausted body.
- Red is the poppy, swaying in the wind in Flanders Fields.
BLUE
- Blue is the sky on a lovely sunny evening
- Blue is the tears sliding down my cold, pale face
- Blue is the rain raging on a cold, stormy night
- Blue is the ocean waves splashing and crashing against each other
- Blue is the sapphires sparkling in the summer sunshine
- Blue is the sweet taste of blueberries squelching in my mouth
- Blue is the blue jay soaring through the sky
- Blue is the whales gliding through the calm sea
- Blue is the smurfs giggling in their happy village square
- Blue is the roses blowing in the spring, fragrant breeze
Mrs Hunter I need to tell you what a wonderful Wai Learner you are! Last year you found blogs difficult to get to. This year it is completely different. This year you have taken on this huge challenge and been so successful and I think I know why. You figured out that you need to learn somehting so you set yourself a goal and then thought about how you would achieve and then asked for help to do it. You then kept trying and snd now you are hooked! You have been a great role model with this - well done ( and room 8 is pretty fantastic too!)
