Using desciptive vocabulary in our writing.

We have been creating and using vocabulary banks.  We have been using a thesaurus to find 'better', more decriptive words for our writing like .........nice.....sad.....said.... good......went.....

We have been changing short/boring sentences and making them interesting and exciting.  Here are some examples......

I am really happy today.
LUCAS changed this to....
I am really glad, amused and thrilled today.

NAOMI changed this to....
I am so jubilant and contented today. 

TAYLA changed this to.....
I am overjoyed and delighted.

I am quite sad
LIAM changed this to.....
I feel quite heartbroken and gloomy...

BEN changed this to......
I am quite depressed and a bit tearful.


Mrs Hunter said 'Good morning'
